How Far Back Do Insurance Companies Check Driving Records?

I’m considering changing my insurance, but I’d like to know how far back into your driving history an insurance company can look when giving you a quote.

Insurance companies often look back from 3 to 5 years to assess your risk as a driver. A speeding ticket, road accident, or other violation will likely increase your insurance rates. But then again, you can always use American REIA to choose the company that doesn’t look far back into the driving history.
